Mountain Valor Veteran Services is a veteran-led nonprofit serving veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors across rural Southwest Virginia. We are non-governmental, non-membership, and free. No referral needed. No paperwork to get started.
We know how hard it can be to figure out where to turn. You don't have to search alone — if you'd rather talk to someone, we're here.
We respond within three business days. You will reach a person, not a call center.
Start by selecting your county. Then choose a category — food, healthcare, housing, whatever you need. You can filter by both at once. Use the search bar if you're looking for something specific.
Click any result to see contact information, hours, eligibility requirements, and notes. If a listing appears outdated or incorrect, use the "Suggest a correction" link inside the entry to send us a note.
Entries marked with a green checkmark have been recently verified. Others may still be accurate — we recommend calling ahead before making a trip.
Know a resource that belongs here? Email support@mtnvalor.org with the organization name, contact information, county, and what they offer. We review submissions and add verified entries on a rolling basis.
